Product Description

This product is yellow or amber clear oily liquid with special odor and slight bitterness. Relative density 1.01, boiling point > 100ºC, flash point 321ºC, refractive index 1.472, viscosity (25ºC) 0.25 ~ 0.40 Pa s. 

Function
Polysorbates are a large class of nonionic surfactants, which have the functions of emulsification, diffusion, solubilization and stability. It is widely used as emulsifier, dispersant, solubilizer and stabilizer in pharmaceutical, daily chemical, food and textile industries. As an emulsifier, the change of high concentration electrolyte and pH value has little effect on its emulsifying ability, and it is a kind of excellent oil/water emulsifier. When preparing oil/water emulsifier, it is often used in combination with sorbitan esters, and the stability of the emulsion is better. By changing the type and dosage of emulsifier used with it, emulsions and creams with different textures and consistency of water/oil type or oil/water type can be prepared. Because of its good emulsifying, dispersing and solubilizing effects on various oils and fats such as mineral oil, vegetable oil and animal fat, this kind of auxiliary materials are mainly used to manufacture a variety of liquid preparations (such as aromatic aqua, mixture, lotion, emulsion, etc.), semi-solid preparations (such as ointment, cream, suppository, etc.), aseptic and sterilized preparations (such as eye drops, eye ointment, injection, etc.)
